Abstract:
With the advancement of global carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and the transformation driven by emerging science and technology, green and low-carbon transition alongside intelligent upgrading have become the inevitable direction for high-quality development in the mining industry. Based on the green and intelligent development trend in the mining industry, the pivotal role of electrification in accelerating the power transformation of mining equipment and promoting the advancement of mining robots and their intelligent control systems has been elucidated. The application and development of disembodied intelligence and embodied intelligence in the field of mining robotics were analyzed. It is concluded that embodied intelligence, through the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology with physical carriers, will effectively drive the transformation of mining equipment from traditional mechanized operations toward autonomous intelligent operations. Finally, limitations in the development of embodied intelligent robots for mining environments are examined. Issues and challenges hindering the routine application of mining robots are analyzed, including constraints such as limited capacity of explosion-proof batteries, insufficient data-driven resources for mining scenarios, and limitations in underground autonomous driving technology.
